No Dogs Allowed At Parent Pick-Up

We love dogs! In fact, over the last several years, we have partnered with an amazing community volunteer group named "Reading With The Dogs". Each week, emergent readers are paired with therapy dogs and their handlers to read together.

We realize that dogs are a true member of many of our families. They go with us everywhere. However, for reasons of safety and security, please do not bring your dog into the school or allow them out of your car at any time. We have received several concerns about dogs coming to parent pick-up each afternoon. If they make they trip with you to the building, please leave your dog in the car.

Presidents' Holiday Schedule

School is in session on Friday, February 17th.  In fact, it's quite a busy day and evening at Hereford Elementary.  Please scroll down to read more about the scheduled Fifth Grade Square Dance.  Also, don't forget about Family Fun Night!  Doors open at 5:30.

Design Challenge

On Wednesday, February 15th, Mrs. Rice's fourth grade class paired with eight graders from The Perkiomen School.  Their goal?  Use given materials to build a device that can transport one of the given objects along the magnetic rail the furthest.  We hope to expand this partnership with The Perkiomen School to include all of fourth grade classes in the coming years.  Thank you, Perk School educators Ms. Goupil and Mr. Yorgey, for proposing this idea!

2016 Hereford Hike Challenge

On Tuesday, February 14th, Mr. Fries and Mrs. Zavadel followed through with the challenge proposed this past fall: If our student raised more than $20,000 for our annual field trips and events, the highest earning classes at each grade level would have a chance to silly string the principals.  Needless to say, they met their mark!
