Hereford Partners With Crayola

We’re excited to tell you about a very special program Mrs. Miller's third grade class is coordinating at Hereford in conjunction with Crayola. It’s called Crayola ColorCycle – an amazing new program devised to turn used markers into energy! We are to collecting used markers that are ready to be thrown away. The markers are then sent to a facility where they are converted into clean fuel. This fuel can be used to power vehicles, heat homes, cook meals and more!  Collection boxes have been placed around the school and you can track our progress on our interactive graph - https://sites.google.com/a/upsd.org/mrs-miller/colorcycle-project

See You At Family Fun Night!
Please join us on Friday, December 9th for Family Fun Night sponsored by the Hereford Elementary School PTFS.  The event will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m.  This year's theme is Pirate Adventure!  Families can shop hundreds of titles in our Book Fair and then relax in the gym while watching the moving "Muppets Tresure Island". Bring your own chairs and blankets to get comfortable!  Popcorn, candy, soft pretzels and water will be available for purchase.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

End Of Day Parent Pick-Up
At the end of the day, families are asked to not park cars in the loop next to the main entrance doors.  Please find a parking spot or park on the flagpole side of the loop.  This practice will ensure that bus 49 will be able to park at the main entrance for the safe exit of our children.
